Very cool video. I like the contrast and the paring of even the basic things like color and hair. Keyboardist hair flailing around in the red zone is awesome. I appreciate the use of video to express this song as opposed to having a plot and story; someone walking through the park with a guitar or dancing on a table in a bar or boy kissing girl, ext.
As for the song itself, which is the main focus here, it’s very well crafted. Even though the hook is catchy I don’t think the song demands it for success. My favorite parts of the song are the fast progressive points leading up to and following the hook. Which makes me want to repeat and repeat those parts. While the lyrics seem a bit cliché at times, I guess we are dealing with the general public here and not Paris Review poets. So, Very good! Y’all are doing so well!
